Parkland Village Assisted Living was designed with comfortable living in mind. The one-story building is fully wheelchair accessible; there are no steps or barriers. The apartment layouts are open and inviting. Each apartment contains a kitchenette, complete with a refrigerator and a microwave oven. There’s room for a table and chairs for when you want to eat in your apartment, or have guests over for coffee and cake.

There is a full service beauty salon, complimentary laundry facility, a library, living room and an activity center. There is also a private dining room available for your to reserve for those special occasions with your family.

Parkland Village Assisted Living’s Cost Comparison

When comparing the cost to live at the different senior housing options in the area, be sure you know exactly what is included. All facilities package their services differently.

For example, at Parkland Village Assisted Living we include assistance with bathing (twice a week) in the basic monthly rent. This assistance is an additional charge at other places in the area.

Parkland Village Assisted Living’s Residential Care

Assistance with “activities of daily living” can be provided to any resident at Parkland Village. Activities of daily living include dressing, grooming, as well as assistance with self-medication, transfers, and mobility. Assistance is also available for more complex care coordination or support with health needs.

All residents, prior to move in and at any time during their residency, can have an assessment by the residential care supervisor to determine their service needs and preferences. An individualized service plan is then prepared and discussed with the resident. Services will begin immediately upon acceptance of the service plan.

Service points may increase or decrease as a resident’s needs and preferences change. By using an individualized plan based on service points, the resident only pays for those specific services being provided.
