Bend Villa Retirement is located at the base of Pilot Butte, in Bend, Oregon. In addition to the scenic beauty that is part of Central Oregon, Bend Villa Retirement has the convenience of being near the comforts of a city.

A wide variety of shopping options are available, St. Charles Hospital and Bend Memorial Clinic are only a couple of blocks away. Bend Villa Retirement offers a tried, tested and adored retirement community lifestyle.

Bend Villa Retirement is the most established retirement community in Bend. For over two decades, Bend Villa Retirement has been dedicated to providing a healthy, fun environment for our Independent and Residential Care residents.

Bend Villa Retirement is a 121 apartment complex; 86 independent 1 and 2-bedroom apartments and 35 Residential Care 1-bedroom and studio apartments.

Bend Villa Retirement apartments are rented on a month-to-month basis. All of our residents are welcome to participate in as many of the various activities, classes and “community” events as they desire. Weekly housekeeping and linen services, cable and all utilities, except the telephone, are included in the monthly rent. They will also enjoy three chef-prepared meals, served in a restaurant style atmosphere. Scheduled transportation to appointments, shopping, banking, post office visits and special activities is also provided.

Bend Villa Retirement’s Residential Care

Assistance with “activities of daily living” can be provided to any resident at Bend Villa Retirement community. Activities of daily living include dressing, grooming, as well as assistance with self-medication, transfers, and mobility. Assistance is also available for more complex care coordination or support with health needs.

All residents, prior to move in and at any time during their residency, can have an assessment by the residential care supervisor to determine their service needs and preferences. An individualized service plan is then prepared and discussed with the resident. Services will begin immediately upon acceptance of the service plan.

Service points may increase or decrease as a resident’s needs and preferences change. By using an individualized plan based on service points, the resident only pays for those specific services being provided.

Bend Villa Retirement’s Apartments

Our independent residents rent private apartments on a month-to-month basis. They come and go as they please and involve themselves in as many of the various activities, classes and “community” events as they desire. Weekly housekeeping and linen services, cable services and all utilities except telephone are included in the monthly rent amount. Three chef-prepared meals are served daily in our elegant Fireside dining room. Each apartment is equipped with an emergency communication system and staff is available 24 hours a day to respond to emergencies; it’s a comfort to our residents and provides peace of mind to their family members. Scheduled transportation to appointments, shopping, banking, post office trips and activity travel is also provided

Our residential care residents also rent private apartments on a month-to-month basis. They too, come and go as they please and involve themselves in as many of the various activities, classes and “community” events as they desire and are able to attend. Weekly housekeeping and linen services, cable services and all utilities except telephone are included in this monthly rent amount as well. Three chef-prepared meals are served daily in our Pines dining room. Our staff services at a higher level in this dining area. For instance, rather than going through the salad bar to choose what they might like, the salad bar is brought to them. Each Residential Care apartment is equipped with a pull cord system allowing residents to request assistance as needed throughout the day and night. Staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residential Care residents pay both a monthly rental fee and a monthly service fee.

Our activities department begins with our fun-loving personalities of our Directors. Each teaming up for a fun-filled calendar of events each month. (And they are not afraid to get right in there and have fun too!).
