Community Representative

Summary

The Community Representative is one of the primary contacts with the community and plays a key role in representing our community to the public.  The community representative must be knowledgeable of long-term care, the residence and competitors in the community.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, have sufficient communication and language skills to enable them to perform their duties and interact effectively with residents and other staff. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Ability to communicate well with elder population, other staff members and general public.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks as well as follow and use schedules.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Observational and visual skills.
  • Clear speaking voice.
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Organizational abilities.
  • Math and money handling skills.
  • Filing skills.
  • Note taking and report writing ability.
  • Pleasant personality and ability to convey information.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable.
  • Ability to travel locally within a 10 mile radius and on occasion within the state of Oregon.

Legal Requirements

Employees in this position must successfully pass all governmental and corporate required background investigations, such as, but not limited to, state required criminal history clearance investigations.
